Accident: 39 African migrants die after boat capsizes off Tunisian coast

 





On Tuesday, 39 African migrants out of the 93 people aboard a boat capsized near the Tunisian coastal area. Relief teams pulled out of the water to save the people who were immersed in the waters.





A Tunisian National Guard spokesman said relief teams have taken the bodies out of the water in the watershed near the town of Safax in South Tunisia. According to a statement from Tunisia's Ministry of Defense, there was also a second ferry nearby and rescue teams have rescued a total of 165 migrants from both boats.
